Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday July 15, 2018 at Pulliam Funeral Home in Oblong, IL. Burial will follow in Hardinville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00 -3:00 pm at Pulliam Funeral Home Oblong, IL.

Mary A. Price, 98, of Robinson, IL went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday July 9, 2018 at the Magnolia Center at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson, IL.

She was born in Martin Township on October 17, 1919 to James Vernon “Vern” Jones and Fannie (Hardin) Jones.  On September 24, 1938 she married Kenneth Bud “Jack” Price who preceded her in death on August 7, 1987.

Mary had worked at L.S. Heath and Sons on the assembly line and had also worked at Victor Dana as a laborer.   She was a member of the Hardinville Christian Church and was a very devoted Christian. She attended Hardinville School and received her GED in 1962.  Mary was a 50 year member of OES-Katherine Chapter in Robinson, IL.  Mary started in the OES in Patoka, IL and was a past worthy Matron of the Hardinville OES.  She had also been President of the Hardinville School PTA.  Mary’s hobbies included sewing, canning and gardening.  She was very nice to everyone she met.

She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law Robert Paul and Linda Price, Humboldt, IL, Kenneth Grant Price, Oblong, IL; one daughter and son-in-law Mary Jane and Paul Becktell, Robinson, IL; eleven grandchildren Rick Price, David Price, Michael Price, Brett Price, Chet Price, Perna Price, Kenneth Price, Chris Price, Daniel Price, Don Becktell and Kevin Becktell and also several great grandchildren.  She is also survived by two sisters Juanita Lewis, Oblong, IL and Nina Monk, White City, IL; sister-in-law Tassie Jones, Wilson, N.C. and daughter-in-law Judy Price, Midland, TX along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, one sister Naomi Deaver, one daughter-in-law Sharon (Guerari) Price, one son Thomas Marion Price, two brothers and sister-in-law Jim and Betty Jones and Jack Jones and brother-in-law Dick Lewis.
